If we are Citizens of the Earth, we have to speak English

I am Catalan and, therefore, I speak Catalan. I am also Spanish, and so I speak Spanish (“Castillian”, to say it properly). I am very proud of being and speaking Catalan and Spanish, but, in this globalised world where we live, I am also, more than never before, a Citizen of the Earth, a “Terrestrian”, and consequently, I have to speak English. Or, better said, “Globish”.

Globish is how it´s named the “global English”, just to distinguish it from the national tongues spoken in England and the USA.

Then, consequently, I will include in this blog some posts in English (“Globish”) from now on.

I also encourage my readers to include their comments to my English entries in the same language, as a mean to practice it. And, of course, I hope that some native- English people will read my comments and will participate in the discussions of them.
